Introduction

During the 2022-23 school year Bay Area Educational Institute/dba Bayhill High School launched a comprehensive strategic planning process. To build a base of sound information and to guide the planning process, BAEI enlisted the assistance of a research and planning firm, Ian Symmonds & Associates. The strategic planning steering committee, comprised of Board members, faculty, and parents, worked collaboratively though a series of exercises designed to establish priorities based on the findings of the research.

Bayhill is uniquely positioned to launch an inspired strategic plan with a single vision at heart – creating agency for every type of thinker. Our vision embraces our mission to educate students with learning differences and acknowledges the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our priorities.

In the next five to seven years, we look forward to expanding our reach to more students in the Bay Area through initiatives that will creatively strengthen our ability to impact the lives of every type of thinker, while continuing to build a strong financial foundation that ensures the future growth of our organization. I look forward to uniting our community around our vision and am excited to embark on this new path for our future.
