This winter and spring are filled with exciting opportunities to be involved in our Bayhill community.

WASC Accreditation: WASC is the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, a voluntary, non-governmental organization. An accredited school is focused on a mission and goals for students; it is student-oriented and examines its students’ performance continuously; it accepts objective evaluation from a team of outside peer professionals trained by ACS WASC; it maintains a qualified faculty within an effectively organized school; it collaboratively assesses the quality of its educational programs on a regular basis; and it plans for the future.

Bayhill’s six year WASC Accreditation visit is Monday March 20, Tuesday March 21, and Wednesday, March 22.  The WASC Pre-Visit is on Sunday, March 19. Shelley needs 3-4 parents on Sunday from 4-5 pm for the visit. Please rsvp to Kim if you can assist chao@bayhillhs.org.

Bayhill Spring Gala Casino Night and Auction: Saturday, April 29 at Bayhill. It’s a super fun evening for parents to socialize, play casino games and raise money for Bayhill !Last year’s Casino night brought in over $11,000. This year’s funds are going to the science and math departments.

We need parents to help plan and run this event!  Please rsvp to Kim if you can help chao@bayhillhs.org; we have jobs both big and small to fit your schedule. It’s a great way to get your parent volunteer hours in and get to know other Bayhill parents!
