Tuition Assistance
We understand that independent school tuition is a significant financial commitment for families. Bayhill is committed to making our program accessible to as many qualified students as possible and offers need-based tuition assistance to eligible families.
Our average tuition award is approximately $22,000, with awards ranging from 15% to 100% of tuition. We encourage families who believe they may need financial support to apply- there is no need to determine on your own whether your family will qualify.
Most tuition assistance is awarded in the spring. Applications received later may be considered based on the availability of remaining funds.

Applying for Tuition Assistance
Bayhill uses Clarity to process tuition assistance applications. Clarity provides a streamlined, mobile-friendly application that allows families to securely submit the financial information Bayhill needs to determine eligibility for tuition assistance.
Most families can complete the application in less than 30 minutes, and you can save your progress and return at any time. Clarity also integrates directly with the IRS to simplify the process of providing required tax information.

Before You Apply:
Families should complete the Clarity application and provide all requested financial information and supporting documentation. Bayhill cannot make a tuition assistance determination until an application is complete.
Additional documentation may be requested depending on a family's circumstances. Please follow the requirements shown in your Clarity account and respond to any requests for additional information.

Important Due Dates for School Year 2027-28 Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance applications are reviewed beginning in the spring, with priority given to families who submit all required documentation by the published deadline. Late applications may be considered as funds remain available.
- 02/01/27 – completed application and all required documents due (*2025-2026 taxes must be completed)
- 03/17/27 – notification of assistance award
IEP Placement
Bayhill is a certified Non-Public School (NPS) and accepts students who are placed at Bayhill through their school district and IEP.
Bayhill does not provide legal assistance or participate in negotiations between families and school districts. Unless a student has an IEP that formally identifies Bayhill as the school of placement, the family is responsible for all required deposits and tuition.
