Bayhill High School offers a program with the core principles of teaching students with learning differences:

  • A small school with small class sizes
  • Explicit instruction utilizing multi-sensory approaches with technological support
  • Highly qualified teachers credentialed in special education and/or single subjects
  • A college preparatory curriculum that is approved by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
  • Support classes such as Reading Success, Writing Fundamentals, Technology, and Study Skills, which provide intensive remediation for students with academic delays
  • Supplementary services such as speech/language services and individual/group counseling
  • Course offerings aligned with California Common Core Standards and California Graduation requirements that culminate in a high school diploma
  • Certification from the California State Department of Education
